Removing most of the old Narco equipment and installing a Garmin GNS-430 allowed space in the right radio stack for an RC Allen electric altitude indicator in case of a vacuum pump failure, and a BFGoodrich WX-900. One of the nice features of the Garmin GMA-340 audio panel is that it allows pilot and co-pilot to transmit on different radios at the same time.
